Fat Tuesday!

Well we had to do the Mardi Gras thing. We all went to Pearls and had some cajun fixins and watched as everyone celebrated. We got there early and there was already a line at the door.
We ran into several friends and got caught up in all the fun.

All the people were all decked out!

My sweetie having a blast.

Bethany and Fred, my sister in law and brother in law.

These girls made the night fun. We sang with the band
and took crazy pics. Lacy and Emily are the girls
on each end and are pretty much  family.

Feb. 10th
It was one year ago yesterday that my husband Steve had a major stroke. One year ago today that they told us that he had a 3% chance to live. I just have to say that Steve is a miracle. I have never seen so many pray and come to our side. It was in a meeting with the Neurosurgeon, after the priest and preacher came to pray for Steve, that we had results of an MRI that gave us new hope. The doctors realized that Steve had less brain damage than they thought. The meeting we were having was to decide how to let him pass, but then here came news of an MRI (that the doctor had already said we didn't need because it was too late, some how it got ordered, thank God) and our prayers were answered. Thank you to all our family and friends for all your help and prayers because Steve is doing so well. Steve has excelled so quickly for the severity of the stroke he endured. He is a fighter and won't give up! After going to Canada for 6 weeks for a speech program and seeing others far worse than Steve, I feel blessed to have a miracle of a husband, my true love.

Preslie's Birthday

Lilly our other granddaughter and Preslie

Oklahoma City Thunder Team

We went to our first Thunder game. It was so much fun.
They stayed ahead the whole game and won.
We had great seats so it made a big difference.

At Preslie's cheer competition

Preslie's friend and Savannah our youngest
sweet little grand-baby.

Preslie is the first one on the left.

Preslie is so cute with her glitter make up.
Brings back memories with my daughter Steph
who cheered in many competitions. Preslie
was the best on her team!

Paxton at his wrestling match! He won!

Paxton is our grandson. He is the one in yellow.
He is the best little wrestler I
have ever seen. He is 1st in the state and always one of the
top in the nation.

Love is in the air!

OK I'm a dork but I love Valentines Day. I am a hopeless romantic and I realize how lucky I am to have a handsome hunk of a hubby and a wonderful family. My short blogs are all I can muster but I hope to eventually stay on task for longer more informative insights. We have been hanging out with the grandkids and they are the cutest ever.
